Nic Hepton leads Talent Engagement for Google, which identifies, connects, and activates talent communities for Google's Global opportunities. The Talent Engagement organization supports Google's global footprint and business units by identifying talent, connecting talent to Google, and ensuring that each person's end-to-end experience with Google is best-in-class.
Nic has over 20 years of experience in talent management, candidate experience, recruiting, employment brand, talent attraction, scaled sourcing, talent systems, and organizational strategy. At Google, Nic’s team manages Google’s employment brand, careers site, scaled outreach and intern programs, as well as the scaled sourcing for millions of candidates and thousands of opportunities each year. Eight-five percent of all candidates who accept a role at Google come directly or indirectly through Nic’s team.
Before joining Google, Nic spent more than 15 years building and leading recruiting teams supporting companies ranging from 100 to 20,000 people. Nic was the Global Head of Talent Acquisition at Business Objects, a French business intelligence and analytics software company. He previously worked at Concur, the global leader in cloud-based travel and expense management, and at SAP Cloud, an independent 20,000-person cloud company within SAP that held software assets such as Success Factors, Ariba, Qulatrics, Concur, Sybase and Fieldglass.
Originally from London, UK, Nic has lived in the UK, France, Canada, Australia and the United States, and has traveled to more than 50 countries. Today, Nic lives with his family in the Pacific Northwest, where the rain brings the familiar comforts of home, and the summers are short, but exquisite enough, to make braving another winter worthwhile.
