David Meyer

I oversee CapitalG's tax, international compliance, fund accounting, financial reporting, valuations, and capital distributions. I focus here because I enjoy tackling complex operational challenges and building the robust financial infrastructure that helps the firm scale.

Prior to CapitalG, I was an Assistant Controller at Sierra Ventures and a Senior Audit Associate at Rothstein Kass (KPMG), specializing in alternative investment funds. I hold a B.A. in Business Economics from UC Santa Barbara and am a CPA (inactive). Outside of work, you can find me exercising, catching a live music show, or trying out new restaurants.
