I believe the future arrives as infrastructure first. Before any technology changes daily life, someone has to build the layer that makes it cheap, reliable, and everywhere. Electricity needed the grid. The internet needed fiber. AI is at that stage right now, and the companies defining how it gets built, deployed, and used are some of the most ambitious out there. They're the ones defining what comes next, and those are the founders I want to work with.

I grew up in Taiwan, an island that became indispensable by building the foundational layer everyone else depends on. It's probably not a coincidence that I gravitate toward the same kind of company: the ones whose work sets the ceiling for what everyone else can build. Before CapitalG, I worked in commercial due diligence at Bain & Company.
