In a world moving at speed, I admire founders with an unwavering view of how things should work: those who refuse to accept the status quo, whether that's chasing a problem others thought unsolvable or putting a capability that once belonged to specialists into everyone's hands. The largest markets of the next few decades are taking shape around exactly these teams, dogged in their pursuit of new technology, emphatic in their love for their customers, and clear about where the world is heading.

For as long as I can remember, I've been curious about where new ideas come from and how they come to life. I grew up in New Zealand and studied law in Australia, where I learned to reason about big problems from first principles. From there I joined Morgan Stanley in Menlo Park, where I worked with large technology companies through their most consequential moments. Now at CapitalG, I get to support the next generation of leaders building at the edge of what's possible.
