As Chief Financial Officer at CapitalG, Kristin Drew oversees global financial strategy and fund operations, ensuring the firm’s infrastructure scales with disciplined fiduciary rigor and modern efficiency. She works in lockstep with the Investment Committee and Limited Partner to bridge high-stakes investment decisions with institutional-grade governance.

I believe that a CFO must be more than a financial steward; we must be a strategic partner for growth for every stakeholder at every level - trusted, reliable, insightful, and forward-looking. At CapitalG, I oversee our end-to-end financial architecture, directing everything from investment diligence and complex fund accounting to portfolio performance reporting, and I partner closely with both our Investment team and our Limited Partner.

Before joining CapitalG, I was a leader on Google’s finance integration team, orchestrating marquee transactions including the acquisition and subsequent divestiture of Motorola Mobility. Beyond deal execution, I served as a hands-on Controller for newly acquired entities. I began my career in PwC’s Transaction Services practice, advising private equity sponsors and corporate clients on complex M&A deals.

I am a Certified Public Accountant, Santa Clara University alum, and devoted 49ers fan, cheering faithfully with my three children.
