Miriam backs founders across sectors with the ambition to pull the future forward. She believes progress comes in leaps, not steps, and is inspired by those with the insight and tenacity to deliver that vision to the world.
I grew up between Europe and Asia, and watched China skip a generation of technology: street vendors went from cash straight to QR codes, without pausing for chip readers. It taught me that the future doesn't arrive in the expected order. Generational companies are the ones that pull it forward, through better technology, economics, or distribution. Those are the founders I look for – the ones who treat the edge of what's possible as a starting line.
Moving between countries taught me how to land in an unfamiliar system and learn it fast, and that still defines how I work. The companies I'm most excited by are, by definition, operating without a playbook, so there's no substitute for doing the work. That means living in the product, sitting with customers, and digging into the story behind the numbers. The calls that founders face are rarely straightforward; my goal is to make sure they never have to make them alone, or without the full picture.
