Prior to joining CapitalG in 2024, Monica served as Chief Strategy Officer for Wonolo, an online platform disrupting the temporary staffing industry, where she oversaw strategy, operations, and corporate development. Before then, Monica spent a decade at Google in revenue and operations leadership roles across both established and emerging businesses.

Monica holds a BA in English from University of California, Berkeley, and an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management. A native San Franciscan, Monica lives in the Bay Area with her husband and two sons. When not chauffeuring to Little League games or swim meets, she enjoys reading (or listening to) any and all kinds of books and eating delicious food other people made for her (although she makes a mean charcuterie board.)
