Alex Tran

Prior to joining CapitalG in 2024, Alex worked as a consultant at McKinsey in San Francisco where he specialized in growth strategy and private equity investment diligence.

Alex is a Bay Area native and graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, with degrees in Business Administration and Economics. Outside of work, you can find him coaching or playing basketball, browsing Facebook Marketplace for local deals, and volunteering with Minds Matter Bay Area.
