Introducing CapitalG’s 2022 Go-to-Market Advisory Board

To provide the most comprehensive support to our portfolio companies, each year we bring together an exceptional cohort of industry experts across Google to serve on our Go-To-Market Advisory Board & support our portfolio companies on their distinct growth journeys.

This year we are thrilled to announce our largest group to-date – composed of 35 experts with deep expertise in key industries, such as financial services, enterprise technology, and retail, in addition to critical growth functions such as pricing, sales operations, and marketing. As Managing Director of SaaS Partnerships and Co-Innovation, Siddhartha leads Google's engagement with top SaaS companies to help them re-platform onto GCP, co-innovate with them to improve their offerings leveraging all Google product areas, and orchestrate the joint go-to-market strategy. Over the past 25+ years, he has held product management and strategy leadership roles in large technology companies, has run world wide sales for mid stage venture backed companies, and has founded companies as CTO/VP Engineering.

Adam Berlew

Director, Cloud AI & Industry Solutions

Adam is an Executive Director in Google Cloud’s AI & Industry Solutions team responsible for strategic commercial relationships and strategy.  He brings more than 25 years of go to market experience within cloud, technology, telecom,  and professional services. Previously Adam held global executive roles launching new product lines and building multi-billion businesses at Broadcom, Equinix and Dell Technologies.

Jen Bennett

Technical Director, Office of the CTO

Having spent her career at the leading edge of technology, Jenn has led a number of engineering and product organizations leveraging data and analytics to transform a number of industries, including sports, media, manufacturing, and industrial. Currently, Jen serves as a Technical Director in Google’s Office of the CTO.

Jay Bowden

Managing Director, ALCS, Home and Consumer Services

As the Managing Director for Home and Consumer Services clients, Jay leads teams that partner primarily with Fortune 200 companies and their agencies to create joint business plans focused on three business objectives: increasing performance on all Google media platforms;driving lead generation, and increasing sales profitably.

Mike Henry

Managing Director, US Financial Services (Ads)

Mike brings 20+ years of sales, marketing, and go-to-market expertise. Mike is skilled at helping companies of all sizes drive profitable growth by reaching high-value consumers with compelling solutions and personalized experiences. At Google he has worked across financial services, retail, telecom, and tech — establishing a broad network of strong relationships along the way.

Lori Jiménez

Director, North America SMB Sales, Google Cloud

Lori is responsible for revenue for GCP and Google Workplace for Google's fast-growing $XB SMB business including sales, account management, customer engineering, partnership managers, and online revenue for the region. Lori has spent the last 20+ years in sales leadership in high-growth environments and has extensive background in designing GTM sales models, developing people, and driving operational efficiencies. Prior to joining Google, Lori built and led top-performing teams focused on selling enterprise SaaS to both SMB and enterprise accounts.

David Kaul

Managing Director, Measurement & Analytics

As Managing Director of Measurement & Analytics at Google, David helps a wide range of companies from JPMorgan Chase to UiPath transform their marketing efforts into profit centers by making smarter business decisions with analytics and taking strategic action with machine learning. Since joining Google in 2006, he has partnered with some of the largest and fastest growing businesses in the world across 20 countries and 5 continents.

Adam Khalifa

Head of FS, EMEA Partnerships Solutions

Adam spent the first 5 years of his career building a strategy consulting business in London, and then launched a startup in Tripoli, Libya before the civil war. Over the last 10 years he has helped scale US startups, Wildfire (sold to Google) and then Stripe. In his current role his team is responsible for Google's relationships with top FS companies in EMEA. He has experience in startup/scale-up GTM approaches in Europe, new business development, partnerships & fintech.

Jennifer Koester

Managing Director, Global Partnerships

For 25+ years, Jennifer has provided legal counsel, led business development efforts and driven internal operations and external GTM for F100 companies with a  unique ability to integrate legal, technical, business, and operational matters.  In her current role, Jennifer oversees the holistic relationship development and value creation across all of Google's products and services with our most strategic partners in Commerce, Finance, Travel, Gaming, Telco, Technology, Media & Entertainment, and Auto.

Brian LaFaille

Global Head CS Programs, Looker/Google Cloud

Brian has spent 12+ years leading support, success, and account management teams, he's focused on developing the customer success practice in hyper-growth SaaS companies. Most recently Brian was the first customer success hire at Looker, which he scaled from $2M to $300M in ARR which led to a successful acquisition by Google Cloud where he serves as a Customer Success Program lead for Google Cloud’s SaaS solutions.

Zac Maufe

Head of Financial Services Industry Solutions at Google Cloud

Zac is the Head of Retail Banking at Google, bringing over 20 years of banking experience to the role which is focused on transforming banking around the world through Google’s innovations. Prior to Google, Zac had several leadership roles at Wells Fargo most recently as EVP and Head of Corporate Strategy, Digital Channels and Innovation.

Heidi Restivo

Managing Director, Global Strategic Initiatives

Heidi has been with Google Cloud since the launch of Google Workspace (formerly known as Google Apps and GSuite) in 2007.  She was the original sales leader for the Enterprise segment and has led, designed and contributed to the evolving GTM strategy for Google Cloud since 2007. Prior to that, she spent over 12 years at Oracle in sales and sales leadership.

Eric Rosenkranz

Director, North America Cloud Partnerships

Eric leads Google Cloud' North America partner development organization. His organization focuses on delivering hyper-growth results with global system integrators, private equity firms, and top venture capital firms. Through this work, Eric and his team have advised hundreds of partners on routes to market, B2B partnerships, solution development, and creative deal-making.

Chris Sakalosky

Managing Director, US Healthcare & Life Science, Google Cloud

Chris brings deep expertise in the healthcare and life sciences industry, serving as Google Cloud’s Managing Director in the domain. Chris has built new business models, products, and partnerships that have driven revenue increases for global customers.

Rob Simms

Global Head of Executive Customer Relations & Acquisitions, Google Cloud

Rob leads the Executive Customer Relations and Acquisitions team, strategically aligned with the Customer Advocacy and Insights organization within Google Cloud. Rob is a seasoned C-Level and senior executive relationship builder, a public speaker and has over 16 years of experience building customer engagement strategies and events, from all around the globe.

Bonita C. Stewart

Google VP and Board Partner, Gradient Ventures

With a career spanning more than 30 years, Bonita brings extensive consumer technology and operational experience and digital transformation across several industries such as publishing, commerce and telecommunications. Since joining Google in 2006, she has driven adoption of digital technologies within the C-suite in the US and globally.

Andrew Sun

Director, Industry Solutions Partnerships

Andrew has a proven record in strategic business development, helping to create market-moving partnerships and products for leading global companies such as Google, Walmart, HP, and Intel. He specializes in accelerating business transformation with disruptive technologies (Cloud, IoT, Mobile), as well as connecting people, technology, product, and strategy into a cohesive partnership to deliver growth.

Bruno specializes in scaling businesses to turn them into global leaders, specializing in high-growth SaaS, enterprise software, data, analytics, data science and artificial intelligence. Prior to joining Google, Bruno helped launch Alpine Data Labs (bought by Tibco), AppStream (bought by Symantec), SiSense (bought Periscope Data) and AtScale.

Michael Burke

Managing Director, Branded Apparel & Durables at Google

Michael is Google’s Industry Director of Branded Apparel & Durables, where he leads a national sales team responsible for developing digital marketing strategies and solutions for some of the world’s largest brands and agencies (Nike, LVMH, Bridgestone, Dyson, Mattel, Sleep Number, Whirlpool, etc). Prior to Google, Michael led business development at Clickable, a VC-backed growth stage startup acquired by Syncapse.

Aimee Catalano

Senior Director, Global Partner Marketing

Aimee leads Global Partner Marketing at Google Cloud., Her organization is responsible for joint partner go-to-market strategy and execution across the portfolio of Cloud partners and products. Earlier, she was the VP of corporate marketing at Pure Storage where in three years she helped grow the company from $173M in revenue to over $1B. She has held a variety of leadership roles with large and small companies including Citrix, XenSource (acquired by Citrix), Interwoven, Qumu, and IBM.

Lawrence Cole

Director, GCS Seller Success

Lawrence has spent most of his 20+ year career driving revenue for F50 companies. At Google, he has led mid-market sales and global sales strategy businesses focusing on high-growth sectors across fintech, e-commerce and retail/CPG. Lawrence has also served as a C-Level advisor to fast-growing private and publicly traded companies within Google's portfolio.

Hamidou Dia

VP, Global Solutions Engineering

Hamidou has over 20 years of experience defining GTM and  business development strategy to drive growth, helping F500 companies build technology strategies and blueprints for digital transformation. Previously, he served as Senior VP of North America Technology Solution Engineering and Cloud Customer Success at Oracle.

Laurence Fahey

Director, Cloud Strategy & Operations

Laurence has over 17 years of experience in sales operations in the cloud and enterprise software arena. He is skilled at designing customer segmentation models and running business operations. Today Laurence runs the Demand Generation & Growth team within the Google Cloud Strategy & Operations function. He leads teams for Cloud’s digital native GTM strategy, data science program design teams to increase revenue. He also runs the Cloud team’s Global Business Development Centre of Excellence.

Mary Katherine Flanigan

Global Partnership Solutions Lead, Healthcare

Mary Katherine is a healthcare technology GTM leader with 12+ years of experience developing growth strategies and deploying digital solutions into the healthcare ecosystem. She has experience across the complete spectrum of healthcare services including virtual consumer care experience, payor process optimization, pharmaceutical services, health policy, and software platform go-to-market (both consumer and enterprise).

Nick Guastaferro

Head of Industry, Digitally Native Vertical Brands

Nick is a seasoned marketing and sales executive with more than  25 years’ experience across a range of industries from hyper-growth VC-funded direct to consumer (DTC)  brands to large and mid-sized consumer packaged goods (CPG) companies. He is also the founder of Google’s global DTC council, bringing together brands ranging from digital nascency to maturity across industries and sectors. Before shifting his focus to performance marketing, Nick held various leadership roles at traditional CPGs including global roles at Unilever, Johnson & Johnson and Pernod Ricard.

Manisha Gupta

Director, Cloud Applications Business Planning

Manisha has spent over 2 decades working in high-tech industries. She is a seasoned business strategy leader with specialization in monetization, commercialization and GTM at Google Cloud. She is widely known for her SaaS and subscription pricing expertise and is a sought out expert by various Alphabet teams for B2B and B2C monetization. Examples include Google Workspace, Google Maps for Enterprise, Cloud AI products, Google Nest Home devices, Self-driving car, and Chromecast. In her prior life, Manisha was a Telecom software engineer.

Bronwyn Hastings

VP of Global ISV Partnerships and Channels for Google Cloud

Bronwyn is responsible for setting the strategy, priorities and delivering success for Google Cloud's global ecosystem of ISV partners, multi-channel resale and service, and partner programs. A dynamic global leader with over 25 years of experience in the technology industry, Bron’s expertise spans general management of sales and marketing, partner and ecosystem performance, M&A integration and international business.

Joshua Marcuse

Head of Federal Business Development

Josh leads Google Cloud's work on strategy, capture, and business development across the U.S. federal government, with emphasis on defense and national security. He has spent nearly 20 years at the intersection of technology, innovation and national security, working across government, industry, and nonprofit organizations. Previously, he served as the executive director of the Defense Innovation Board and is the founder of several organizations including the Federal Innovation Council at the Partnership for Public Service and the Federal Innovator Network.

Natalie Piucco

APAC CTO Strategic Cloud Advisory, Customer Engineering

Natalie is a Cloud Technologist & GTM leader with experience across both European & Asia Pacific Markets. For the past 8 years at Google, Natalie has contributed to the hypergrowth of the Google Cloud Business and supported the engineering, commercialisation and delivery of multiple new digital cloud products. She has partnered with F100 companies driving new Innovation and ventures, supporting  and scaling AI digital natives, has experience launching Google consumer products and scaling to billions of users

Santi Pochat

Head, Social Lab at Google

Santi currently leads Google's Social Lab where he manages multi-channel marketing campaigns across a number of product areas. His expertise expands across technology platforms into B2B, consumer tech, entertainment, and policy with a lens of integrated marketing. Before Google, Santi led digital marketing at Verizon, the Samsung business at Edelman, and has worked with various large consumer brands including Unilever, Campbells, AstraZeneca, Verizon and Meta.

Nirav Sheth

Director, North America ISV & Marketplace Sales, Google Cloud

Nirav leads the team responsible for driving customer outcomes with partners and ISVs across Google Cloud's largest sales region. Prior to Google, Nirav led Cisco’s customer experience organization that was responsible for global customer support to Cisco's Network Infrastructure portfolio. He later served as the global VP for Cisco channel specialists.

Jared Skinner

Director of Select Sales

After a successful career as an engineer, Jared transitioned to sales where he offers extensive technical and go-to-market expertise with a passion for modern cloud computing. His deep understanding of infrastructure, security, data analytics and application management are well suited to today’s enterprises. Jared brings a unique perspective on product market fit, enterprise sales and customer success. Prior to joining Google, Jared led go-to-market efforts for VMware’s Cloud Management and Software Defined Data Center solutions, Pivotal Software and Apcera (acquired by Ericsson).

Dai Vu

Managing Director, Google Cloud Marketplace & ISV GTM Initiatives

Dai is a product and business leader with a track record of bringing disruptive solutions to market, building new businesses, and scaling to multi-billion dollars of annual revenue. He currently leads Google Cloud Marketplace & ISV GTM Initiatives. His previous roles at Google include Application Modernization Product Strategy and Ads & Commerce Product Management. Prior to Google, Dai held a variety of leadership roles in product management (Microsoft, IBM), business development (SAP), and strategy consulting (McKinsey, BCG).

Nigel Walsh

Managing Director, Insurance

Nigel is the Managing Director for Insurance at Google Cloud, responsible for leading the firm’s approach to insurance coverage across  claims and underwriting and  leveraging AI and ML to drive better business outcomes. Nigel also works with the broader Alphabet family of companies to bring their experience and insights to  our existing insurance customers. Previously, he was a partner at Deloitte Digital, where he led several areas including the global future of insurance and insurance technology.

Martha Welsh

Sr Director, Product Strategy, Operations, GTM

Martha leads strategy, operations and go-to-market initiatives for Google Commerce, which includes shopping, travel, payments and NBU. Previously, she led X-company strategic initiatives for Google, and has defined the strategy for some of Google’s most complex problem spaces. Prior to joining Google, Martha worked at Goldman Sachs in New York in investment banking and until May 2021, served on the Board of Directors of GoJek, an Indonesian-based ridesharing and food delivery start-up valued at $12B.
