Scott has spent the past 20 years building general management capabilities across sales, business development, product management and engineering. As managing director of ISV sales & partner go-to-market, Scott helps Google Cloud’s partners grow their cloud business in North America. Before joining Google, Scott spent 12 years at AWS where he helped build a number of functions and businesses at both Amazon HQ in Seattle and across EMEA while based in London.
At Google Scott is accountable for helping Google Cloud partners accelerate their growth while helping customers maximize their return on investment in Google technology. Scott leads a team of ISV specialists aligned to key solution areas like data and analytics, security, and application modernization, in addition to teams overseeing geographic regions tasked with co-selling with all partner types.
Scott joined Google in early 2023, following 12 years at Amazon Web Services where he helped build the ISV portfolio and programs. Scott also led product management and owned P&L for AWS Support, where he launched products that reached millions of customers, such as Personal Health Dashboard and Trusted Advisor. Scott spent two years based in the UK, where he led startup business development for EMEA and managed the EMEA partner team. Most recently, Scott was general manager of AWS training, where he led product and engineering and managed the P&L for the global training business and launched products including AWS Cloud Quest and AWS Skill Builder. Before Amazon, Scott held several positions at EMC, including leading acquisitions and investments for EMC Ionix.
Scott holds a B.S. in Operations and Management Information Systems from Santa Clara University. A lifelong tennis player and car fanatic, he resides in the Seattle area with his wife and two children.
