As SVP of Knowledge & Information (K&I), Nick is responsible for Google Search, Commerce, Geo, and Ads. He leads the strategic evolution of these core consumer products, transforming how Google can be helpful for people everywhere with AI.
A 20+ year Google veteran, has led product development and strategy for a wide range of Google's core consumer products over his tenure, including leadership of Ads, Assistant, Commerce (Shopping, Travel, and Payments), Google Fi, Messages, Search, Photos, and others. His deep expertise and strategic vision have shaped products used by billions globally. His early leadership of Google’s search advertising products laid the groundwork for the robust advertising platform that powers Google today, instilling core principles of user trust and quality that remain central to the platform’s success.
Nick’s work has been foundational to many efforts across Google, from spearheading Google’s vision for Rich Communication Service (RCS), to being one of the founding leaders of Google Fi, a modern wireless service from Google.
Prior to Google, Nick was a consultant with McKinsey & Company and graduated from Harvard with a degree in economics.
