He oversees the firm’s advisory efforts for B2B portfolio companies and established a Google Cloud partnership for the companies in which CapitalG invests. Erzan also manages the firm’s external F500 CxO advisory network which provides expert senior advice and connections to portfolio companies through their scaling journeys.

Before joining CapitalG in 2021, Erzan spent over four years with Google Cloud, managing their relationships with Bay Area enterprise clients. Before Google, Erzan worked at Oracle’s Cloud Core Technology Division where he helped clients in their transition to the public cloud.

Erzan was born in Turkey and moved to California’s Bay Area when he was 15. Erzan holds a B.A. from UC Berkeley and an MBA from Duke’s Fuqua School of Business. Outside of work, Erzan spends most of his free time trying his hand at creating new cuisines, exploring California’s beautiful nature, and working towards completing his goal of seeing all 50 states.
