Prior to joining CapitalG in 2024, Elaine worked at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP, where she represented leading private equity firms and private and public companies in mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and other significant transactions. Before Paul, Weiss, Elaine was an M&A associate at Kirkland & Ellis LLP and, prior to that, at O'Melveny & Myers LLP.

Elaine holds a BA in Philosophy from the University of California, Berkeley, and a JD from Columbia Law School.
