In his role as Associate General Counsel, Brian supports and advises the firm on venture capital financings, M&A/IPO strategy and exits, and portfolio management. He has been at CapitalG since he joined the firm in 2019.
Prior to CapitalG, Brian was in-house counsel at Electronic Arts and then Uber, where he represented the companies in acquisitions, divestitures and investments. Brian started his career as a corporate associate at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP.
Brian holds an BA in Government from Dartmouth College and a JD from the University of Texas School of Law.
