Bonita C. Stewart joined Google in 2006 and currently serves as Board Partner for Google’s Gradient Ventures and an Executive in Residence with Global Partnerships. Most recently she served as VP, Global Partnerships overseeing the company’s largest US publisher partnerships across news, media/entertainment, commerce, and mobile apps. Her career spans over three decades leading multi-billion operations, accelerating digital solutions and driving innovative operational transformation for major corporations in the IT, automotive and technology fields.
She is widely hailed for her leadership and in 2014 she was named by Crain’s as a Woman to Watch in Tech. In 2019 she co-authored A Blessing: Women of Color Teaming Up to Lead, Empower and Thrive followed by the 2020 release of the Women of Color in Business Cross-Generational Survey. Stewart also is credited for pioneering the concept for Howard West, a technology immersion program for historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs), powered by Google. Stewart serves on two corporate boards: Deckers [NYSE:DECK] and PagerDuty [NYSE:PD]. She received her BA from Howard University and MBA from Harvard Business School. She resides in New Jersey with her husband and entrepreneur, Kevin Stewart.
